It has been five years since our sister company Cerexio’s journey began in 2020, and to celebrate this remarkable journey of dedication and collaboration, the Sri Lankan teams of Cerexio and Tigernix gathered to embrace the companionship through a fun-filled trip to Victoria Golf Resort, Digana. The three-day outing was held from January 29th to January 31st, 2025, and the teams embraced Sri Lanka’s serenity, growing closer with every shared laugh, adventure, and heartfelt moment.

It was an awesome experience for the teams as they had the great pleasure of meeting its visionary CEO, Mr. Gowrishankar and participating in the exciting events in upcountry Sri Lanka. It is unnecessary to say that this outing offered the space for corporate bonding to flourish by every means. It was a perfect blend of greenery with crustal clear waters giving the true vibe of ‘vacationing’. The team had playtime by the pool, evening tea time with yummy cakes and cricket sessions. SL team was hypnotised by the mouthwatering buffet dinner and the lovely country music by a calypso band at the end of each day.  Major highlights were the movie night with lots of laughter and friendly chatting.

Walking beyond just having fun, day two gave a vibe of ice-breaking and strategic thinking as they had the chance to participate in an adventurous corporate training facilitated by Outbound. This training mainly focused on enhancing communication, teamwork, leadership, and a never-give-up attitude in the corporate environment. All the team members had so much fun taking part in rifle shooting, archery training and some super-fun team activities.

“The sole purpose of this outing is to get out of our usual work environment,” stated Mr. Gowrishankar. He further added, “I hope this trip makes a path for them to understand each other and see the team members from different and friendly perspectives.”

On day three, a journey to the majestic Victoria Dam led the team through stunning landscapes, where breathtaking views and nature’s calm unfolded before them. “We had an amazing opportunity to build bonds and now we have to implement them during work for the best. We share one goal after all” shared a team member with a smile.

As day three came to a close, the Tigernix and Cerexio SL teams left Victoria Golf Resort with treasured memories and inspired minds, eager for their next reunion.
